Event Works Europe Ltd was established in 2008. We are a small core team, and also work with a number of trusted associates who work with us on website management, finance and event delivery.


Jayne Foster, Managing Director

Jayne has 29 years’ experience in events management/direction, having worked both in-house and agency side for companies across a range of sectors including British Security Industry Association, The Sainsbury Centre, Two-Way TV and Ontrac. Jayne set up as a sole trader in 2002 working on a range of contracts for companies including Liberate, Action for Children and the APA. In 2008 Jayne set up Event Works Europe Ltd and has grown the business steadily over the past ten years, establishing herself as a trusted event partner to a number of businesses, with a particular bias towards the public sector and emerging and established technology companies.

Jayne is married to Richard and has a Labrador, who is our office dog and Tia the cat.

Jayne is a good cook and hostess and likes entertaining and travel, as well as walking in the great outdoors with Richard and Bailey!

Sharon Brunt, Account Director

Sharon joined Event Works on a freelance basis in 2017, and from November 2018 as a Partner in the business. Sharon has worked in a range of communications and marketing roles for over 20 years, more recently for a professional membership organisation, the British Occupational Hygiene Society. She has worked in the UK, Australia and Germany for companies in the public and private sectors, including Gartner, Thieme Verlag and Springer Verlag.

She holds a BA (Hons) in European Business studies with German, from the University of Humberside and the Fachhochschule Munster (Germany) as well as a CIM Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing.

In addition to her event management experience, Sharon has broader communications and marketing capability, with experience in areas such as copy writing/proof reading, website management, social media, event marketing, PR and communications, and digital marketing.

Sharon is married to David, and has two children, a labradoodle and two guinea pigs. In her spare time she runs and competes in the occasional half marathon or triathlon.

Katherine Conway, Event Co-ordinator

Katherine spent 10 years travelling the world as a Purser for British Airways before joining Event Works in late 2017.

Katherine is mainly office-based and leads on much of the venue-finding work. She has a great attention to detail and has rapidly built up her knowledge of the industry and of venues in the UK and abroad, with a good grasp of the types of venues to suit each of our clients.

Katherine is married to Nic, and has two little girls. When she can, she likes to keep fit in the gym and enjoys furniture renovation.
